In the mid seventeenth century, a woman in Pavia, Italy, was hounded in the night by a soft, seductive voice and a strange, small man. Hieronyma's experiences, though certainly unique, are also not unlike the experiences of those who suffer from modern-day sleep paralysis, or alien abductions.
