Our astronaut Sophie Adenot explores what happens when you create an air bubble inside a floating water bubble aboard the International Space Station.

In Part 1 of the experiment, she showed how a sphere of water in microgravity acts like a convex lens, bending light and inverting the image. But adding air inside the water changes the optical properties, altering how light travels and flipping the image once more.
