Welcome back to Part 2 of our explosive series on UFO crash retrievals with military aerospace historian Michael Schratt. (From an original 2019 archived interview)
The story doesn't end at the crash site. In this episode, we follow the trail of wreckage and bodies as they enter the labyrinth of the national security state. What happens when a 30-foot saucer is too wide to cross the Hoover Dam? Where are the thousands of retrieved components stored?
In Part 2, Richard Dolan and Michael Schratt move beyond the crash site to investigate the covert operations that follow. This episode focuses on the incredible logistics of transporting and storing non-human technology, and the personnel sworn to protect the secret.
**The Kingman Retrieval & The Hoover Dam Incident (1953):**
Picking up where Part 1 left off, Schratt details the aftermath of the Kingman, AZ forced landing.
* **The Operation:** A nighttime retrieval involving an M25 Tank Transporter was initiated to move the 30-foot saucer.
* **The Transport:** The mission hit a major snag at the Hoover Dam, where the craft was too wide to pass. The team attempted a risky maneuver to float the craft across the Colorado River on a barge.
* **Near Disaster:** Schratt recounts the harrowing moment the transport cable snapped, causing the saucer to drift and impact the wall of the Hoover Dam before being secured. The craft was eventually taken to Indian Springs Airfield (now Creech AFB).
**The Wright-Patterson "UFO Warehouse" (1955):**
Schratt presents a powerful case from the files of pioneering researcher Leonard Stringfield.
* **The Witness:** A woman known as "Mrs. G," who worked in the Foreign Materials Division at Wright-Patterson AFB in 1955, came forward before her death.
* **The Job:** Her role was to catalog foreign materials. She testified that she was tasked with cataloging over 1,000 components recovered from a crashed UFO.
* **The Bodies:** Most chillingly, she witnessed a cart being wheeled past her carrying two small, humanoid bodies packed in dry ice and chemicals.
**The U.S. Marine Encounter (1963):**
The episode concludes with the incredible testimony of a U.S. Marine, identified as "RB."
* **The Mission:** In December 1963, the Marine was flown blindfolded to a secret hangar, three hours from MCAS Cherry Point, NC.
* **The Craft:** Inside was a 40-foot polished aluminum saucer surrounded by scaffolding. He was ordered to guard it with lethal force.
* **Indestructible Technology:** The Marine witnessed teams with cutting torches attempting to breach the craft's hull, but the "laser failed" and they "couldn't even get a razor blade in the crack." He also secretly took a photograph of the craft, which was tragically lost in a flood years later.
