On April 19, 2023, the SASC Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities Hearing was Chaired by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand relating to the progress of the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO). This is the current iteration of the UAP Office in the Pentagon, headed by Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick. The result was as-expected for many followers of the UAP/UFO subject: lots of PR, no genuine assessment of the phenomenon.
