In 2015, a Swedish tech company received a creepy package in the post, from an unknown sender. The package contained a cryptic DVD, which held nothing more than a menu, two very unnerving audio tracks, and a ridiculously creepy 2 minute video of a person wearing a plague mask and robe in the middle of an abandoned building. This blogging site brought attention to the case, and the mystery soon had its own Subreddit dedicated to uncovering the secrets within. That is when people started uncovering more than they bargained for- co-ordinates, images of the dead, and of course the threat to the president of the USA. This grove the Internet and media wild, and even today, "11B-X-1371" remains one of the creepiest and most sophiscated viral videos to grip the Internet. But what was it? Was it a prank or hoax? Or was it genuine? That's what we will find out today.
